VRP Instances

This section collects the main benchmark instances proposed by different authors for the classical variants of the Vehicle Routing Problem. Most of these test sets date back to the 1980s and 1990s, yet they are still widely used by the research community as standard benchmarks for comparing exact methods and heuristics.

The instances are classified according to the following problem variants:

• Capacitated VRP (CVRP)
• Capacitated VRP with Time Windows (CVRPTW)
• Capacitated VRP with Pickup and Delivery and Time Windows (CVRPPDTW)
• Multi-Depot VRP (MDVRP)
• Multi-Depot VRP with Time Windows (MDVRPTW)
• Periodic VRP (PVRP)
• Periodic VRP with Time Windows (PVRPTW)
• Split Delivery VRP (SDVRP)
• Split Delivery VRP with Time Windows (SDVRPTW)
• VRP with Pickup and Delivery (VRPPD)
